My name is Clare Louise Blakemore, I am a qualified Nutritional Advisor and I live in central rural Spain. Married to Andrew, we share our finca with over 40 rescue animals - basically we are their on-call staff! Horses, dogs, cats and chickens, you'll meet them all here at CLB Nutrition

Being a woman of a certain age (ok, I'm in my fifties!) I well understand the importance of good nutrition, combined with an active life

I am also a huge believer in living responsibly. A friend once told me "we should tread lightly on this earth" and that resonated strongly with me - it has shaped the way I live, eat and work. I promote a meat-free, cow & goat dairy-free diet not only for our health but for the health and welfare of animals and our environment

While nutrition is definitely my happy place, my kitchen garden calms my soul. To be testing new recipes using home grown fruit and vegetables is very satisfying. And I'm never alone!
